Children ages 6, 7, and 8 while engaging with the main theme, will review vocabulary learned in previous years, enhance thinking skills, improve vocabulary, comprehension, and speaking proficiency in the Spanish language. In the theme Walking with Nature campers will learn about various aspects of nature.  Each camper will create several projects with recyclable material found at home and the natural environment.

In This is how we play in Latin America! students will learn about the various games and toys found and played in Latin America.. Campers will use their creativity and imagination to build/recreate games and toys found in Latin America with recyclable materials found at home and the natural environment. A group project will be one of the highlights of this captivating theme.

From imagination and creativity, we move to "hands on learning;", campers will prepare avocado salsa, jell-o, fruit popsicle, lemonade, and fruit salad. Students will have fun role playing a fruit salad stand shop using game paper money while practicing their math skills in Spanish. Their fine motor skills will be developed through out knitting and crochet, and they will get plenty of physical exercise with soccer, flag tag, floor hockey and other games.

The program will run from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.                        

Before Care is available from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m./After care is available from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
